3 Days of India-Pakistan War – Comprehensive Detail

On the night of May 6th and 7th, India cowardly launched airstrikes on Pakistani territory. According to Indian military spokespersons, the strikes targeted nine sites. However, the Pakistan military claims that only six sites or cities were actually hit. The cities affected by the Indian strikes include Bahawalpur, Muridke (near Lahore), Shakargarh, Sialkot, Kotli, and Muzaffarabad.

India claimed that it targeted terrorist hideouts, not civilians. But in fact, all the missiles landed in residential areas, killing 31 civilians, including women, a 3-year-old girl, and a 7-year-old boy. Several mosques were also targeted in the attack.

Background

On April 22nd, 26 tourists were killed by gunmen near Pahalgam, located in Indian-Occupied Kashmir. Following the attack, India alleged that Pakistan was involved—without providing any evidence to support the claim. India stated that its strike was carried out to deliver justice to the families of the Pahalgam attack victims, claiming it had targeted the terrorists responsible. However, some experts believe that India simply used the incident as an excuse to target Pakistan, as it did in 2019.

Pakistan denied its involvement in Pahlgam attack.
